Origins

Looking back, there is a deep sense of gratitude for a career in visuals. This journey has led me to filming across every corner of the globe. From the Inner circle of the world's wealthiest individuals to those possessing nothing but the clothes they wear, the camera has allowed me to capture every facet of human life. Whether exploring icebergs or jungles, from pollution to beauty, through documentary or fiction, much of my work now lives in VR. It is an immersive medium where the technology draws you in, allowing the story to leave a lasting mark on the soul.

This collection and the craft within it, is dedicated to my father, who set me on this path. I owe so much to him for sharing his knowledge, for his constant support, and for introducing me to the craft of analog black-and-white printing.

Alongside my father, two lecturers have been incredibly important. Henny Drijfhout deserves credit for pushing me and my work to a much higher level, and finally, Todd Heisler for providing such incredible inspiration.
